Your Access to the Games

In addition to all public spectator areas, accredited media will have access to designated media zones and mixed zones at sport venues throughout the Games.

MEDIA ZONES

Media zones are restricted to accredited media and provide field-of-play–adjacent access for photography and videography of competitions, medal presentations, and related sporting moments.

MIXED ZONES

Mixed zones are controlled areas accessible to accredited media and Games participants. These spaces are designed for post-competition interviews and athlete and coach interactions..

Athlete-only areas, locker rooms, medical spaces, and restricted zones are off-limits to media.

Accredited media must present their official AWG media accreditation badge at venue Access Control Points to enter media and mixed zones. Please keep your accreditation visible and with you at all times.

If no mixed zone has been identified at a venue, participant interviews may take place in a public spectator areas.
